For about a week, filming has been taking place in the city, including the Upper Haight and Castro, for “When We Rise,” an ABC mini-series that chronicles the history of the LGBT movement. This afternoon, scenes were being shot outside The Women’s Building on 18th Street, near a row of 1970s-era cars.
According to IMDB, the series stars Guy Pearce, Mary-Louise Parker and Rachel Griffiths.
